Michael Magee

Michael Magee, a beloved brother, uncle, and proud Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 30, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, Michael was the cherished son of the late Helen and Eugene Magee.

Michael, a distinguished member of the United States Navy, served onboard the USS Shangri-La, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant. His military service was a source of pride for him, reflecting his dedication to his country and the values he held dear. Following his time in the Navy, he dedicated his career to serving the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a tax agent, where his keen eye for detail and commitment to public service shone through.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Michael will remember his vivacious spirit and love for spirited discussions on current events and politics. He welcomed anyone willing to engage, sharing his insights and listening intently to the views of others.

Michael is survived by his sister Helen, brother Gene Magee and cherished nephews Gene (Juliana), Billy (Khristine), and Mark (Liz), along with great-nephews who will carry on his legacy of curiosity and open-mindedness. He was preceded in death by his sister Katherine.

In honor of Michael's life and service, friends and family are invited to greet his family on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Koller Funeral Home beginning at 10 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, Michael will be remembered for his love, wisdom, and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
