Melissa Scheidhauer

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melissa "Missy" Scheidhauer, who left this world on October 14, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on October 7, 1974, in Philadelphia, PA, Missy was the beloved daughter of Charlotte West (nee Scheidhauer) and the late Peter Quinn. She will be profoundly missed by her cherished daughter, Maranda Fox, and her fiancé Adam Mulson, as well as her siblings, Christopher Quinn, Joseph Scheidhauer, and Michael West.

Missy was a dedicated phlebotomist whose compassion for others shone brightly in her work. She approached each day with a blend of sass and fierceness, tempered by a gentle and loving heart. Her kindness extended beyond her profession; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. 

Missy had an unwavering faith, trusting in God and His plan for her life, which brought her great comfort.Her love for the small joys of life often included taking a moment to enjoy her favorite cup of green tea from Wawa or indulging in her passion for astrology. Missy was known for her light-hearted spirit and the warmth she brought to every room she entered. To know her was to love her, and her memory will forever be cherished by her many dear friends and family members.

In honor of Missy's life, a memorial service will be held at The Church of St. Alban on October 23, 2026, at 11 AM allowing family and friends to come together to share their love and memories of this remarkable woman.

Missy leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
