Matthew (Mattfu) A. Trimbur, age 59, passed away on March 17, 2021 due to complications from an illness.

A Philly native born January 19, 1962, Matthew was known by many in the community. He will be remembered by all as the life of the party and someone who could always bring laughter to those around him.

An avid lover of all types of music, he often stumped his daughters by asking "Do you know who sings this?" or "What's the name of this song?". A tradition of his was to make his daughters sing a Christmas song before opening their first gift on Christmas morning. He loved attending concerts and shows, and even played a little guitar. Matthew loved his family, motorcycles, tattoos, the Blue Angels, the Walking Dead, and all things Penn State.

Son of the late George Trimbur II, Matthew is survived by his mother, Kay Trimbur (Takako Funo), his fiance Eleanor Mitchell and family, his four daughters, Tara Turvey (Tim), Christy Petitti (Nick), Amanda Trimbur (Jermaine), Ashley Farber (Rob), and his 12 grandchildren. Brother of George Trimbur III (Eileen), Doris Maher-Krautheim (Steve), Janet Kmiec (Stas), and Thomas Trimbur (Laurie). Further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held. In loving memory of Matthew A. Trimbur, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
