Mary Louise Sloan (nee Guthrie), 80, died peacefully with her family at Roxborough Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 27, 2014. She was a 1952 graduate of Friends Select School.  She was a homemaker who loved raising her large family.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, doing daily crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader and a passionate Philly sports fan.

Mary Lou's husband of 59 years, Daniel, died March 22, 2014.  She was also predeceased by her son Donald who passed away on July 21, 2014.  She is survived by children Danny, Debbie (Warren Lee) Miller, Donna (Russell) Cornell, David (Kathy), Dennis, Denise Gray, Doris (Stephen) Gentner, Douglass (Kelly), Dolores, and Dawn (Sean) Macdonald and grandchildren Lorraine, Timothy, Christian, and Luke.

Family and friends are invited to Viewing on Friday, October 31, at 9:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral Service, 10 A.M. at THE KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave (cor. of Livezey). Interment George Washington Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made in her name to IHM Memorial Fund, 819 Cathedral Rd, Phila., PA 19128.
