Marjorie DiGiovanni of Belmont Hills passed away peacefully Wednesday October 5th at Broomall Manor, she was 94 years old. Marjorie was born on February 20th in Altoona, the daughter of late John Orr and Meda Orr. Marjorie was active with the school board for many years and was involved in many community services including the building of the first public pool in Belmont Hills. She was also very active with the Manayunk parade and enjoyed singing in the senior choir. Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John DiGiovanni and loving daughter Marjorie Pearson. She will be sadly missed by her children: John DiGiovanni (Rita), Paul DiGiovanni (Denise), Michele McDonough (Skip), Michael DiGiovanni (Alice), Marybeth Fusaro (Pat), Maureen Vanafra (Mike) as well as her 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
