Maria was a warm and compassionate soul whose love for her family knew no bounds.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria A. Lauria, age 66, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, on October 16, 2026. Maria was a warm and compassionate soul whose love for her family knew no bounds.
Maria was the beloved wife for 31 years to Michael J. Lauria, with whom she shared a deep bond both personally and professionally. Together, they owned and operated Mike's Service Center, where Maria took great pride in her work, relishing the opportunity to collaborate alongside her husband.
A devoted mother to Angela Escamilla (Angel) and Nicole Lauria, Maria cherished her role as Nonna to her four grandchildren-Santino, Talia, Mikey, and Enzio-whom she adored. She was not just a grandmother but a true matriarch, creating a nurturing environment filled with love, warmth, and baked treats from her dessert catering business, Maria's Edible Art. A talented baker, she delighted in crafting desserts that brought joy to her family and friends.
Maria is also survived by her siblings, Stefano Giordano (Tatiyana), Domenico Giordano (Leona), and Rose Giordano, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends, including Christine Sullivan and Doreen McKinley. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raffaele and Lucia (nee DiLuca) Giordano and her siblings Joe Giordano and Conchetta Perez (Joe).
Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring Maria's life at Koller Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on October 21, 2026, from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM, where we will gather to share memories and celebrate the beautiful spirit of this remarkable woman. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 PM, giving everyone a chance to reflect on the love and joy Maria brought into our lives.
Maria will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
