It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Lillian "Peggy" Plies, who left this world on July 18, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on April 10, 1943, Peggy was a vibrant and spirited woman, whose energy and feisty spirit lit up the lives of all who knew her. She was the beloved daughter of James R. Dickson and Thelma D. Daily and the cherished wife of Wolfgang Plies.
Peggy's greatest joys were found in her family. She is survived by her loving daughter Tracy Murphy, son John Stankovics, her treasured granddaughter Natalie Carlisle, and her great-grandchildren, Mckaylee and Paizly Carlisle. Her beloved grandson-in-law, Michael Carlisle, and daughter-in-law, Shelley Stankovics, along with her siblings-John Daily, Richard, Henry, Thomas, James, Frank, Alfred, Walter, and Wayne Dickson-will also carry her memory in their hearts. Peggy shared an inseparable bond with her faithful dog, Max, who brought her comfort and companionship during her life.
On August 21, 2026 relatives and friends are invited to greet Peggy's family at Koller Funeral Home beginning at 9 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. where family and friends are invited to celebrate her enduring spirit and the joy she brought into the world.
Peggy's laughter and love impacted everyone around her. While her physical presence will be profoundly missed, her spirit will resonate in the hearts of all she touched. May her legacy of kindness, humor, and compassion continue to inspire us all.
