Karla was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 21st, 2020 at the age of 59.

Karla was born to William and Judith Fahnestock on January 10, 1961. She was an honor student and went on to graduate from Marple Newtown High School Class of 78'. She was a very talented photographer and loved to travel. Though never married, Karla was graced with two loving daughters, Valerie and Cecelia in 1995. They were the loves of her life. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Karla loved volunteering at her church and AA groups. Karla held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her, she enjoyed singing at church every chance she got. She is now singing with the angels. Karla was an avid beach goer who could always be found with her toes in the sand on the Wildwood beach. Karla joins her parents Judith and William in Heaven. She is survived by her daughters Valerie and Cecelia, sister Karen, nieces, cousins, and many beloved friends. For the time being, due to the ongoing circumstances, the family will be holding a private viewing. A memorial service will be held to honor Karlas life at a later date.
