Joseph W.. Stem , 76, died peacefully at his home in North Port, Florida on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.  He  was born June 18, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, to Charles and Louise Stem.

Joseph married Jean M. Wood in 1965 and enjoyed a love that could not separate them — forever in life and now together again in heaven.  Joseph was a loving and caring man whom everyone claimed was "Larger than Life."

Joseph had spent his time in the service and, soon after, became a plumber and member of the Plumbers Union 690.

Joseph is survived by his three children, Joseph (Tracey) Stem Jr., Jeanne "Missy" (Rick) Lewis and Patricia "Trish" Bradley; grandchildren, Kenneth (Brandi) Wolfrom, Jacqualine Wolfrom, Charles (Nikki) Wolfrom, Jessica Bradley, Cody Hawkins, Alexandria and Kayleigh Stem; great-grandchildren, Faith, Kayleigh, Karlie and Conner Joseph Wolfrom; and two brothers, William (Ag) Wood and Joseph Wood.

Friends and family are welcome to his Visitation at 6:00pm, Friday, April 7, 2017, followed by Memorial Service 8:00pm, at KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey, Philadelphia, PA 19128.  Interment private.  Share condolences at www.kollerfuneralhome.com.
