Joseph J. Burke, passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 84. He was the husband of Deanna Burke (nee Schaefer). Father of Maureen LePera, Michael (Sue), John (Jean), and Paul (Melani) Burke. Grandfather of Matthew and Samantha LePera, Michael, Amanda, Brian, Erin, Kelly, Alayna, and Brandon Burke.

Joseph was very active in the community for many years. He participated in the City of Philadelphia's Youth Aid Panel Program and was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award for his long time commitment and dedication. Joseph also volunteered as a Reading assistant in various local schools in the area. He will be missed by many.
