John J. McCann "Ace" passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 92. Husband of Margaret "Peggy" McCann (nee Sontag). Father of Susan Erick (Kurt), Michael J. McCann (Toan), and Sharon Gonsalves (Carlton). Grandfather of Alexandra and Nicholas Erick and Jordan and Logan Gonsalves. Son of the late Joseph and Isabel McCann. Brother of the late Bill McCann. John worked for the School District of the City of Philadelphia for over 40 years. He retired as the Assistant Principal of Dobbins High School. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, beginning at 10 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment is Private.
