John "Jack" Leahy , age 59, formerly of Manayunk, died suddenly on June 30, 2015.  Graduate of Roman Catholic H.S. ('73) and Phila. College of Textile ('77),  Jack was a long-time store manager at Pathmark Supermarkets and, most recently, at Acme.  Jack had a passion for all things related to sports.  He cheered on all the major Philadelphia sports teams and closely followed Roman football and basketball teams.  In his spare time, he enjoyed being out on the golf course or in the sun.  He was also a dedicated cyclist and participated in the MS City to Shore and ACS bike-a-thon multiple years.  Jack's knowledge of music, spanning all genres, was unmatched and his charismatic personality has been described as "bigger than life" itself.  His favorite times were spent in the Pocono mountains fishing, hunting and laughing with a Miller Lite in his hand and his family by his side.

Loving father to Adrienne Miller (Paul), Monica Leahy and 2 grandchildren, Caden and Sloan.  Son of Eugene Leahy, Sr. and the late Rose; Brother of Dennis (Shirley), Burt (Cathy), Carol Mongillo (Joe), Joanne Jordan (Rich), Paul (Jen) and the late David; Devoted companion to Joanne Hack (Sterner).

Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing Sunday Eve 7 to 9 P.M. and Monday 9 A.M. at KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (corner of Livezey) .  Funeral Mass Monday 10 A.M. at Holy Family Church, 234 Hermitage St., Phila.  Int. Hillside Cem.
