John passed away peacefully on April 21, 2021. He was the oldest son of John B. and Helen M. (McCrory), brother to Joseph, Nicholas, Thomas and Marie Zawislak (preceded).  Survived by his wife of 61 years, Marion (Mansell) and his 4 children: Sandra (Thomas), Cindy (Joseph), John and Susan (Tony).  PopPop to 8 grandchildren and G-Pop to 4 great granddaughters.  He is preceded in death by granddaughters Ava Grace and Tara Mari.

John is a graduate of Roxborough High School class of 1958 and served in the Marine Corps for 8 years.  John worked for PECO before retiring in 1995 after 38 years of service.  Gee truly loved life: camping, boating, catching rays, doing puzzles, and was an avid Eagles and Flyers fan.  He served his church as a trustee and enjoyed dressing to the nines.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects April 28, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. Philadelphia. Services and interment are private.
