John W. Brandenburg, 70, died June 24, 2022, at his home in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Mr. Brandenburg was born July 24, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, to John C. & Doris Brandenburg. He was the oldest of 5 children. John was a graduate of Roxborough High School and went on to receive his B.S. in Political Science from Temple University. He worked as a Claims Specialist with Cigna Insurance for many years. Mr. Brandenburg is survived by his two sisters; Sally Gillespie & Donna McLaughlin; two brothers, Michael & Steven Brandenburg; 5 children and their spouses, Justin Brandenburg & Jenifer Brandt, Jonathan & Alexandra Brandenburg, Jeremy & Kourtney Brandenburg, Kirsten & Carl Hess, Jared Brandenburg; and 13 grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to greet John's family on Friday, July 1st beginning at 10 AM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
