It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John L. Antoniolo, a beloved father, grandfather, and dedicated veteran. Born on May 4, 1928, in Philadelphia, PA, John departed this life on July 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, family devotion, and community involvement.
John, a proud Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, dedicated many years of his life to his country, having also served in the Navy. He was honored to be a member of organizations that reflected his commitment to service, including the American Legion Post #0355, the Air Force Sergeant's Association, The Retired and Enlisted Association, and the Sons of Italy, Roxborough. His steadfast dedication to his community and fellow veterans was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred (nee Vrana), and his cherished children, Anne Marie Boron, Kathleen and John A. Antoniolo, as well as his granddaughter Elizabeth, John is survived by his grandson, John Boron, and his brother, Anthony Antoniolo. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Della Antoniolo, and his siblings, Catherine Tantalo, Joseph and Jeanette Gagliardi, all of whom he remembered with love and fondness.
John will be deeply missed by family and friends who will forever cherish the memories he created, the values he instilled, and the love he shared. His warmth and kindness touched many lives, and he will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on July 17, 2026, at St. John the Baptist, where a public viewing will take place at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass celebrating John's life at 10:30 AM. We invite all who knew and loved John to come and honor his memory as we gather to celebrate a remarkable life filled with love, sacrifice, and dedication. Interment in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to U.S. Vets, Serving those who Served.
