Joan S. Schwiker was born to Walter S. Turkowski Sr. and Theresa Turkowski on March 12, 1937. She passed away at Lankenau Hospital on November 6, 2021. She was the wife of the late Raymond Schwiker and is survived by her daughter, Pamela Sposato and Grandson, Lucas Doroba. She is also survived by her siblings Walter Turkowski and wife Angie; Donald Turkowski and wife Kathleen; Sharon Rosenblum and husband Jeff; Ronald Turkowski and wife Diane. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Joan worked for over 30 years as a teller at Roxborough Manayunk Bank until she retired in 2003. She enjoyed spending her time with the senior clubs at St. Johns and the 21st Ward. Her passion was going to the casinos, playing bingo and playing the numbers. She was a small woman in stature but full of pep and gusto. We all will miss her dearly.
