Jeanmarie (Harmer)
Westerfer
Feb 1, 1968 — Jan 29, 2024
Jeanmarie Westerfer (Harmer) passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 55. Devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Blair Westerfer, of 35 wonderful years. Loving mother to Lauren Westerfer (Jimmy), Julia Westerfer (Kevin), Jessica Westerfer (Christopher), and her best pup Zoey. Soon to welcome her first grandbaby, or as she called him "the little guy." Daughter of John Harmer and the late Jean Harmer. Sister of Linda Madrak (Jim), Judy Palischak (Bill), Steven Larkin (Annamarie), Michele Wood (Charles), and Jackie Guerra. Jeanmarie is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jeanmarie worked as an administrative assistant at the office of the district attorney in Philadelphia for 30 years. She received a plaque in her honor for her time there when she retired in June 2023. She loved taking the train to work everyday and walking around the city, especially during Christmas time. Jeanmarie was full of life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to the mountains and beach, going to concerts, and going on walks with her dog Zoey. She loved listening to music, drawing, and her daily Dunkin runs for iced coffee.
She saw beauty in every sunset and snow storm. Jeanmarie always saw the good in everyone, and taught her kids to do the same; to live life to the fullest and be happy. She had the kindest soul and warmest heart that will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. To have known Jeanmarie Westerfer was to have loved her. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality will continue to live on through the lives of everyone she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to greet Jeanmarie' s family on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 beginning at 8:45 AM at Saint John the Baptist Church, Manayunk. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Project Semicolon.
