James Peter Grimes, of Roxborough-Manayunk, PA, 56, passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 22nd 2022, peacefully at his home. Born November 27th 1965 in New Castle, DE, he was the son of the late Joseph P. Grimes, Jr., of Womelsdorf, PA and Jeanine B. Grimes, of Homer, NY. For many years, at the start of his career, Jim worked in the hotel industry serving in various operations and finance departments. His latest position was serving as an Assistant Vice President for Human Resources at Temple University, in Philadelphia. Jim also volunteered as the President of the Green Tree Run Condominium Association, where he lived for over 30 years, and helped the community achieve Gold Star Community status. He is survived by his twin-brother, Jonathan P. Grimes, of Wilkes-Barre, PA, his sister, Kimberly A. Williams, of Atlanta, GA, his two nieces Jelisa and Leslie Wallace, and his grand-niece Lariah. Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing on Saturday, October 29 at 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. Interment is private.
