Herbert M. Schwagerl passed away on November 11, 2022 at the age of 89. He is the husband of Rita Schwagerl (nee Pfeil). Father of Roland Schwagerl (Peggy), Susanne Motta (Joseph), Barbara Fishbein (Roy), Herbert Schwagerl (Margie), Rosemarie Gentner (Steven Gentner, Sr.), and William Schwagerl (Karen). Grandfather of Gina Bennett (Sean Weiss), Jenifer Garry (Billie), Aron Motta (Katherine Cooney), Jason Fishbein (Danielle), Kory Fishbein (Joanna Palac), Rebecca Schwagerl (Joe Hiegler), Bridgette Schwagerl, Richard Gentner, Steven Gentner, Jr. (Kristine), Kierstin Schwatka (Zachary), and Erik Schwagerl. Great Grandfather of Brayden, Henry, Rory, Eddie, Aria, Alexandria, Gray Everly, Bryce, Natalie, Zoe, Zane, Zavier and a new one on the way. He was the son of the late Simon and Anna Schwagerl. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Thursday, November 17, 2022 beginning at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
