Helen McDonald (87) (née, Luba) passed away on December 8, 2023. Helen was the daughter of Stella and Eugene Luba. Helen grew up in Manayunk and was a member of St. Josaphat's parish. She was a graduate of Roxborough High School and attended Philadelphia Community College and the Manayunk Art Center for classes. Helen had four children-Kathleen, David, Patricia Sheetz, EdD (Peter), and Michael. Helen worked as a Warehouse Supervisor and enjoyed weekends at the casino. Helen is the grandmother of Christina Fitzsimmons (JD), Courtney (4/11/2012), Kelly , Emily, and James. Helen is the great grandmother to Molly and Evan. Helen was a beloved aunt and cousin to many family members. Service and Internment will be private.
