Harry "Buck" Christman of Andorra passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on September 7, 2019 at the age of 84 after a long illness. Buck, a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from the Philadelphia Police Department with 27 years of service. After retirement he served for many years as a head usher at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley, and his three children, Nancy, Harry and Joan. He was a proud grandparent to his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 14. 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Rd., Philadelphia. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Memorial Fund or to a charity of your choice.
