Gina Marie Birkmire passed away at the age of 42, on June 3, 2021. She is the daughter of Kevin and Linda Tierney. Loving wife of Ron Birkmire. Mother of Ronald III, David, Paige, Angelina, Aaron, and Payton. Sister of Jennifer Gallagher (Steve), Linda Wagner (James), and Karen McGlade (Shawn). Sister-in-law of Tracy Leahy (Pete), Joseph Birkmire (Danyle Shepherdson), and Justin Simon (Samantha). Granddaughter of Mary Ellen Tierney and Catherine Casino. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews. Gina worked at Cook Wissahickon School and loved working with the children and faculty. Relatives and friends are invited to St. John the Baptist Church, 146 Rector St., Manayunk, on Friday at 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM. Interment is Private.
