Gilda Capece, beloved wife of sixty-nine years to Dominic Capece Sr. and mother to seven children, Julia Obert (Richard), Abramo John Capece (Rita Thompson), Gloria Fratto (Tony), Dominic Capece Jr. (Deb), Joseph S. Capece (deceased) (Cathy), Gilda Capece-Jennings (Charles) and Lisa Jobs (Charles).  She is survived by her sister, Alice Saiia, and brother, Albert Mascucchini.

Their marriage was made in heaven and Dad was the love of her life as she was his.

Gilda went to be with our Lord and His angels on Monday, June 6.  She had celebrated her 90th birthday in April among her entire family, consisting of children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and nine great grandchildren.

Gilda was a wife, mother and homemaker throughout her life and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends and neighbors.  Her wisdom and understanding was always on target as if she had a prophetic voice.  She loved our family get-togethers and was well known for her delicious cooking.  Her other interests included a good fashion sense, but her life centered on her family which was always first and foremost on her mind.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday, June 10th from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Avenue (corner of Livezey), Phila., PA 19128; Funeral Mass 11:00AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Phila., PA 19128.  She will be buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Donations in Gilda's name  to IHM Church Memorial  Fund would be appreciated.
