Philadelphia
Florence T. Loughran (nee Ruch), April 7, 2020, Age 89. Wife of the late Francis J. Loughran, mother of Deborah Jean (dec'd), Maureen, Kathleen (Michael) and Sharon (James), grandmother of two (Regan and Connor), and best friend to Dolores Metzinger. She is the sister of Jaqueline Wojciechowski (Theodore, dec'd) and Joan Nolan (John) and the late Francis T. Ruch Jr.
Florence was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 25, 1930. She was a beautiful lady, carrying herself with dignity and grace. She married Frank Loughran on October 22, 1955, and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was extremely proud of and adored her grandchildren. Florence enjoyed working many years for both Prudential Insurance and CertainTeed.
Fiercely independent, Florence insisted on remaining in her home of 60 years. She loved spending time with her family and talking for hours on the phone to her sisters and best friend. She also enjoyed going to the New Jersey shore and dining out; The Crab Trap and Valley Green Inn being among her favorite restaurants.
She was an active member in the Immaculate Heart of Mary, having had a deep abiding faith in the Catholic religion.
Florence is now at peace and reunited with her husband Francis, her daughter Deborah Jean and her parents, Francis and Jean. She will be truly and dearly missed.
