Esther Haefner (nee Klebon), 93 years old, of Roxborough and formerly of St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, passed peacefully with family surrounding her on December 20, 2020.

She was the beloved wife of Francis "Fred" Haefner. Cherished Mother of Kathleen Donahue (Dennis), Karen Fogel (Thomas), Judy Ludovico (Louis, Deceased), Janet Haefner Rogers (John). Loving Grandmother of Kimberly Schival (Jared), Kerri Garrity (Dan), Christina Gehman (Kasey), Caitlin Fogel (Joseph Schapers) and Daniel Ludovico (Kari). Dear Gigi of Avery, Colin, Alyssa, and baby girl Gehman. Sister of the late William Klebon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Esther has a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was dedicated to her family and community volunteering with many organizations. She enjoyed gardening, playing 500 Rummy and word searches.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing on 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Hospice and Palliative Care Compassus, 2 Campus Boulevard, Suite 200, Newtown Square, PA 19073 would be appreciated.

The family asks that all Covid-19 safety and social distancing guidelines will be followed during services.
