Emily Klebon, 90, of Manayunk, left us the morning of July 31, 2021, to join her beloved husband Bill dancing through the aisles of heaven where she is no doubt the new life of the party.  She lived a full happy life shared with her daughters Deborah (John) and Donna (Scott), her grandchildren John (Terry), Dawn (Lee), Michael (Lori), Jennifer (Patrick), and Patricia (Steven), her 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Emily loved her family, her church, babies, going down the shore, and animals…especially dogs. Emily put Manayunk on the map before it was cool through her work with the Germany Hill Civic Association and the Manayunk Canal Day Committees, among many others.  Emily always made an entrance.  Her presence was seldom unnoticed, and that's just the way she liked it.  She would be happy to know that people are reading this with a smile, looking back at all of the fun times and happy memories they shared with her, knowing that she was content and at peace in the end.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Service 11:30 AM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. Interment is Private.
