On Thursday, March 9, 2023, Elmer E. "Bud" Routzahn passed. He was seventy-four. Born to Elmer and Ruth Routzahn, Bud joined the army right out of high school and served two tours in Vietnam. Upon returning from his last tour, he began employment as a Union Bottler for Philadelphia Coca-Cola company and worked this job until retirement. Bud was an avid bowler and was active in local bowling leagues for many years. He also loved golfing and could be often found on the golf course with cousin Jim Heisey. He was preceded in death by his sister Diane Burg. He is survived by his son Michael and his partner, Heather of Philadelphia. A granddaughter, Ava, of Dayton, OH. A daughter, Jessica, and her partner Victor, of Lisbon Portugal. Bud remained close with Deborah Heiser, the mother of his daughter Jessica. He is also survived by two sisters, Anita Barton and her husband Rick and Yvonne Magallon both of Conshohocken, PA. In accordance with Bud's last wishes, the family will not be holding any services at this time. Instead, there will be a celebration of life party at a later date to be announced.
