Eileen Falchetta (nee Yanak) passed away suddenly on September 7, 2020 at the age of 61. Eileen is survived by her husband of 37 years, Vince; daughter Eileen; sons Vince and Joe and future daughter-in-law Deanna. Eileen was one of nine children; her surviving siblings are Mitchell, Miriam (McMullen), Charles, Geraldine (Melone), and Francis. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Mitchell and Marian and her sisters Patricia, Bernadette and Joanne.

Eileen was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and born and raised in Overbrook. She was always proud to share with anyone her double dutch jump rope skills she learned in her neighborhood. She attended LaSalle University and finished with an Associates degree. There she met the love of her life and best friend, Vince. All of Eileen's children graduated from LaSalle and it was something she was very proud of. For the last few years she worked at Koller Funeral Home as a secretary. Most of her professional work included secretarial jobs at which she excelled as she enjoyed helping people and being a smiling, warm face to everyone she met. Eileen enjoyed a vibrant social life with her family and friends. She prided herself on keeping her home clean and many of us will not be able to hear the sound of a vacuum without thinking of her. She loved spending time with her husband and kids, cherishing regular weekly family dinners, karaoke nights, trips to the beach, Saturday drives with the love of her life. She adored going to any place that had live music for her to dance. She has left a lasting, loving impression on so many and she will be forever missed. Friends and family are invited to a visitation starting at 10 a.m. followed by a celebration of Eileen's life on Monday, September 14 at Koller Funeral Home.
