Douglas Francis Toner, Age 59 of Philadelphia (Northeast) and formerly of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia , Pa. left this world much too soon on Thanksgiving Day November 26th, 2020.

Doug was predeceased by his parents Frank and Ruth Toner (nee Kourge). In addition, he is survived by his daughter Amberlynn Marie Pankowitz (nee Laughlin) – a sister Gail Trotter of Richlandtown, Pa. (Tom) and a brother Daniel Toner of Delran, NJ - as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his grandsons, Brandon and Bentley Pankowitz.

Doug attended Roxborough High School,  was known for his exceptional mechanical skills and could repair just about anything on wheels. A loyal supporter of the Philadelphia Fire Department having lost a great uncle in the line of duty. He had many lifetime friends and CB Radio acquaintances throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond.

Doug will be remembered as a faithful son, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Saturday, December 5 at 1 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Rd, Abington, PA
