Doris H. Zurzola (nee Walsh), from Villas, NJ, formerly of Manayunk passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 84. Wife of the late John A. Zurzola, Sr. Mother of Mary Jo DiPiero (Rich), Susan Greco, Terese Zimmerman (Michael), Christine Wright (Jim), John A. Zurzola, Jr. (Christine), and Amy Z. Quinn (John). Beloved Nanie of Angela Stoffere (Ted), Anthony Greco (Jennifer), Richard S. DiPiero, Jr., Kevin Wright (Bianca), Jennifer Rosenbach (Andrew), John A. Zurzola, III, William J. Zurzola, and John J. Quinn III. Great Grandmother of Stella Stoffere and John Anthony Greco. Beloved niece of Marlene Walker. Daughter of the late William and Ruth Walsh. Sister of the late Judith A. Holzmiller. Doris was a longtime parishioner of St. Lucy Church, Manayunk, and a proud graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1955. She dedicated her life to her family, and spent many years in Manayunk before retiring to the Jersey Shore with John. She was a voracious reader, with a quick wit and cherished wisdom. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Monday, November 7, 2022 beginning at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment in Westminster Cemetery.
