Dawn Welsh (nee Lowery), age 67, of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward T Lowery, Sr., and Beverly Jane (nee Hanson). Dawn was loved by her husband James, brother, Eddie, sister-in-law, Sue, and sister, Jennifer.

She deeply loved and admired her niece, Jenna, and her nephews, Eddie (Alison), Bradley (Rachel Stowell), Leo, and Kyle (Bridget), as well as her great-niece, Sophia, and great-nephews, Thomas and Russell. Dawn delighted in spoiling them with special gifts and was often more like a mother than an aunt.

They all cherished their Aunt Dawn and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She is also survived by her godfather, Herbert J. Snyder, with whom she shared many cherished lunches, dinners, and phone conversations over the years.

Dawn loved the beach. She and James would spend a lot time together at the Jersey Shore, fishing and enjoying time with family and friends. Dawn shared a particularly special bond with her niece, Jenna. She could always be found cheering Jenna on at her many Special Olympics events, proudly supporting her every step of the way. Dawn was truly her biggest cheerleader.

Dawn had the biggest heart and touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She consistently put others before herself, always making sure family, friends, and loved ones were cared for before tending to her own needs.

Dawn also treasured her second family, her co-workers at AristaCare. She was a dedicated and loyal employee for 24 years, where she was the Director of Human Resources. She was respected and loved by her colleagues, often going above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. Many of her co-workers became lifelong friends.

Known affectionately by many as "Aunt Dawn," she will be remembered as a caring, thoughtful, and beautiful soul who brought kindness, comfort, and love to everyone she met.

Dawn courageously battled cancer for more than a year and a half, enduring countless hours ofsurgery and chemotherapy treatments. Despite her own struggles, she continued to work and remained devoted to caring for others, always putting their needs before her own. Her strength, determination, and selflessness were truly inspiring.

Today, Dawn is at peace and free from pain. God has welcomed this beautiful and caring angel into His arms, where she now watches over all of us.

We will miss you, Aunt Dawn, but you will never be forgotten. The memories created and the love you shared will remain in our hearts forever.

She is now in God's loving hands, reunited with the family and friends who passed before her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dawn's Viewing on Saturday beginning at 10 AM at Koller Funeral Home, 68355 Ridge Ave. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, 320 Righters Mill Road.
