Obituary

David Ralph Hunt passed peacefully at Grandview Hospital in Perkasie, PA with family at his side on the afternoon of September 3, 2021. He was 90. David was the loving husband of the late Martha Hunt for 62 years.  They were lifelong residents of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.  He served domestically in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was remarkably talented with all things mechanical or electronic and was called upon quite frequently by family, friends and neighbors to repair anything that they could bring to his front door from antiques to televisions, but most especially any kind of clock.  He was very creative with the written word and painting was a lifetime passion.  He was an active member of the Manayunk Roxborough Art Center. Mr. Hunt will be dearly missed by his children, David T. Hunt and Kimberley Berg, as well as their respective spouses, Janice and Michael. He was also survived by four grandchildren: Ross Hunt , Amanda Bishop , Madalyn Meyers, and Jack Hunt and 5 step grandchildren: Emily Landis, Sarah Landis, Sarah Printz, Amanda Farias, and Haleigh Berg. As well as 10 adoring great-grandchildren: Allison, Brayden, Dylan, Liam, Lily, Mila, Olivia, Pierce, Ryan, and Turner. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on September 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia. A Memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. While flowers are certainly welcome, because of his deep appreciation for all things art, the family would welcome donations made in his name to the Manayunk Roxborough Art Center, Donate Today! — Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center
