David A. McFadden, Age 75, passed away peacefully at home after a battle with A.L.S. Born in Philadelphia to the late John L. and Catharine H. (Reice) McFadden. A Vietnam Veteran, Dave was also a carpenter for the School District of Philadelphia for 44 1/2 years. He loved sunrises and sunsets at the Jersey shore. He is survived by his loving wife Martha (Marty Wertz), two children David McFadden (Sarah Morrow), Jennifer McFadden Prior (Richard), grandchild Maia Prior and brother-in-law Steven Wertz. Also by nieces and nephews; Scott Lowery (Robin), Sallie Rice, Barbara Rice (Steve), Wayne Rice, and Jill Rice. Predeceased by siblings Catharine Lowery (Donald), John McFadden (Thelma), Wayne McFadden, Elizabeth (Bette) Rice (Thomas), and nephew Robert Rice.

Dave's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 9th, 10:00 a.m. at Koller Funeral Home where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Michael J. Creszenz V. A. Medical Center in memory of David A. McFadden ALS Neurology 3900 Woodland Ave. Philadelphia, Pa. 19104.
