Caroline M. McDowell passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 67. She was the loving wife of the late Chester "Chet" Gulczynski, Jr. Stepmother of Karen Foehl (daughter of her heart). Daughter of the late John "Jack" McMenamin and Margaret J. McMenamin. Sister of Michael McDowell (Ginny), the late Patrick McDowell and sister of her heart, Kelli Thayres. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends that she held dear. Caroline was a proud graduate of Penn State University with a Master's degree in Education. She was just a dissertation away from completing her PhD and the first female to be certified as a shop teacher in the City of Philadelphia. Literacy and education were extremely important throughout Caroline's life. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Saturday, November 12, 2022 beginning at 10 AM at Koller Funeral Home in Philadelphia. Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.
