Bernice A. Vasso passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 94. She was the youngest of seven children, born in Cooper Tract, Forest County, Pa., to John and Mildred (nee Jeffords) Phillips. Bernice graduated from Sheffield High School, joined the Army Cadet Corps, and attended nursing school in Philadelphia. She was the wife of the late William "Cookie" Vasso. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Vasso, her grandchildren Nick (Chrissy) and Daniel Griffoni. She is also survived by her great grandson Nicholas Griffoni.  Services are private.
