Benjamin J. Santore III, January 11, 2021, Age 67.  Beloved husband of Mary Jo Santore (Mangano). Father to Nichole DiMidio (Ed) and Ben Santore (Raquel). Adoring Grandfather to Emmy and Benjamin. He was the son of the late Benjamin Jr. and Anna (Hayduk). He is also survived by his brothers Joseph (Renee), Robert (Joanne) and Michael (Colleen), many nieces and nephews, and his special "sweethearts". He was predeceased by his sister Pattie Ann and his brother Thomas.

Benny was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing off the beach, and deep sea fishing at the Jersey Shore. He loved spending his Summers down the shore with his wife and family. He liked watching his favorite funny, fishing and cooking shows, and grilling on his BBQ. He enjoyed sitting on his front steps and chatting it up with the neighbors. He loved eating his good seafood feasts and his sweets.

He met the love of his life, Mary Jo, in 1970 and that began their love story. They were married for 47 years. He adored his wife and kids and grandchildren, and more than anything, loved spending time with them. They were his life and his legacy.

Benny's funeral will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 with Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Rector and Cresson Streets, in Manayunk. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to Shriner's Hospitals for Children would be greatly appreciated.
