Guidice, Jr.
Jun 19, 1949 — Apr 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony M. Guidice Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend, on April 1, 2026.
Born on June 19, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anthony lived a life defined by service, strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Anthony proudly served in the United States Coast Guard before dedicating 28 years to the Philadelphia Police Department, ultimately retiring as a Lieutenant. His commitment to law enforcement and his steadfast loyalty to his fellow officers, family, and friends were hallmarks of his character.
Following his retirement, he continued his work in public service as a Park Ranger and later as Regional Director at the Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation of Pennsylvania. Tony was a devoted family man and the cornerstone of those closest to him. He was deeply cherished by his wife, Patti Guidice, with whom he built a strong and loving family. He is survived by his children Gina Haber (Joseph), Anthony M. Guidice III (Joanie), and Bridget Guidice-House (Matthew). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Carlie, Joseph Jr., AJ, Sean, Lailah, Jake, Matthew Jr., and Tessa. He is also survived by his brother Thomas (the late Bonnie Rowan-Guidice), along with many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
In his free time, Tony found his greatest joy in being with his family, whether at the beach or in the mountains. He had a deep love for hunting and fishing, which brought him closer to nature and created lasting traditions and memories with those he cared about most.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Saint John the Baptist, Manayunk, beginning at 9:00 AM. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM, where family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate his life. Interment is private.
Tony's legacy of loyalty, dedication, and love for his family and friends will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.
