Angela V. Gribben (nee Patrizi) known to many as 'Judy' passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 97. She resided with her daughter Donna for the past 29 years in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Angela was born in Dividing Creek, NJ in 1924 to Ferdinando and Marianna (nee Latanzi). She lovingly spoke of the days growing up on the farm with her brothers John (Pauline), Anthony 'Bucky' (Marie) and sister Dorothy Riviezzo (Ralph) who all predeceased her in death.

After leaving the farm her parents opened a grocery store in an Italian neighborhood in North Philadelphia where the family lived on top of the store.

She was a woman before her times! While still in her 20's she opened her first beauty salon in Philadelphia, 'The Sans Soucy'.  She then opened her next beauty shop in Chestnut Hill, 'The Hill Salon' and after many years of ownership started a new shop 'La Hill Salon' in Lafayette Hill. She was well respected in this industry and had many lifelong customers. She continued to have the ability to cut hair until she was 95!

While running her business she raised 3 daughters, Maureen Herninko (who predeceased her in death), Donna Kent-Croushore (Rick) and Marianne Gribben (Belmonte).

She loved to garden and bake in her retirement years and often presented the family with gourmet desserts! She had a keen fashion sense and only loved the best! At one time in her life she had wanted to be a fashion designer and often sewed various articles of clothing without even a pattern!

Angela was also predeceased by 2 Grandsons, Nick Venetis and Michael Romano.  She will be sadly missed by her Grandchildren Ana DiSantis (Venetis), Joseph Kent II, Rocco-John Kent (Denise Pastella), Charles Belmonte (Kelly Bennett ), Angela Belmonte (Vince Viscomi), Scott Croushore (Tammy Bruski). Great Grandmother to Scott Cermanski, Donte Murphy, Luciano Romano, and Trisha, Noah and River Croushore. She was proudly the Great Great Grandmother to Frankie Jayne Moeller

Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, August 14th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 2007 New Hope St., East Norriton, PA 19401. Interment is at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery at 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue. Philadelphia.
