Andrew H. Windfelder, (Andy to his family and friend), 70, of Manayunk passed away after a short illness on Saturday, December 6, 2019.  Born June 14, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved son of the late John and Anna Windfelder. Andrews was a son, brother, veteran and loyal employee.

A veteran of the US Army, Andrew served our country from 1968 to 1970 where he was stationed in Korea. He is survived by 3 brothers, John Windfelder, Eugene Windfelder (Donna) and Walter Windfelder.  He is also survived by six nieces and nephews: Jennifer Schwartz (Greg), Kristen Baughman (Bobby), Nicole Miller (Lee), Sean Windfelder (Vanessa), Shane Windfelder (Jen) and Sarah Leib (Pat) as well as 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Andy was a 51 year employee of Fiberflex where he worked until his passing. Always with a positive attitude, Andrew will be remembered for his ever present smile and for the commitment he had while caring for his mother Anna. Known by many in the neighborhood for years because of his ever present walking up and down the streets of Manayunk. Andrew took many trips with his mother and brother to Florida to visit family. Andrew's silence spoke volumes to many and showed great wisdom. He will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to Call on Tuesday, December 10 at 9 a.m. at the Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave., Philadelphia. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Interment is private.
