Diane -

So sorry to learn of your dear father's passing.
I know that both he and your mom had been a big part of both yours and your children's lives over the years and that they were so loved by your entire family.

Our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Thank Yous Guys from the bottom of my heart ❤️. Dad was a man of few words he might bitch about dumb shit we did but after he would help your dumb ass get back on track. If you knew him really well, he was not as cheap as he made out. I know he helprd a lot of family but you had to sit for wisdom. As you all know, he was THE ORIGINAL ZIGGY. He could tell stores about some of the jokes they pulled in the police department 👮 today you would be fired. He was an unspoken WW2 Sailor . I learned a lot of his war and police stories from my mom. . I'll miss him but know he is with his true love ❤️ MOM ❤️ To quote Ziggy, "you dumb ass" 😂

Zingy was such a great guy and a regular at the Community Center. I can’t tell you how many people have asked about him in the past weeks. He will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Zeke was just like a second father to my sisters and I. There are only wonderful memories of Zeke & Ann as both family and next-door neighbors for so many years. Zeke was not only a wonderful, caring, funny man, he was so kind. The last time we saw he and Ann was in their Florida home and what a great time we had, remembering old stories of when we were kids. An incredible Policeman and a truly great American.
To our dear friends, the Jaroma family, Joey, Diane and Paul, you three were so fortunate to have the best kind of parents anyone could ask. The blessing of Zeke's passing is, Ann his most loved wife, is there with him, where the two soul-mates should be. No greater love have I ever seen than Ann and Zeke. God Blesses Zeke now and our love and prayers go to Zeke's family.

I knew Ziggy from the swimming pool at the Plymouth Community Center. What a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. We called him "Sunshine" as he often referred to his three cats (Sunshine, Toots and Pumpkin). We were introduced to "Whopper Wednesdays" and lunch at Long John Silver's on Fridays. He spoke of Florida and the mountains and his family of course. Thank you Ziggy for you service to our country in the US Navy during World War II and as a Philadelphia Policeman and for the story that was you. I will miss you as will so many others at the pool. My heartfelt condolences to your family and friends. Rest in peace, my friend. I am grateful to have encountered you on my life's journey!

He was so excited and ready to come back to the pool , we had a plan he could return today, Thursday , but God had another plan for him . Thank you for your kind words about my father . The pool was the highlight of his day , and I can see why with the love that comes through in your testimony Charlie . Thank you again for being a friend to my father , he spoke of you too often , and he was so excited when I told him you called him last week . Diane

Dear Diane, So sorry about your father's passing. Any of us who came to Indian Rocks knew the Jaromas and Slaters. We had a wonderful childhood with our parents working on the cabins and us in the river and lake. My deepest sympathies to your whole family. Your dad was a hard working happy guy. Our links of old are falling but our childhood bonds are their legacies and I think we all turned out pretty good because our parents showed us another side of life in Indian Rocks. God Bless. Ellen Mertz-Yoesron💟
