Joseph G. Mazurek

Joseph G. Mazurek, of Roxborough, June 19, 2018, Age 85. A man of devoted faith and character. Loving husband of Diana (nee Roncella). Loving father of Joseph M. Mazurek and the late Christine A. Mazurek. He is also survived by nieces. nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Joe proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict as a radio operator and was a 48-year employee of John Wanamaker's/Macy's in Center City. Joe was also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus Cor Mariae Council #4100 and enjoyed fishing and vacationing at the Jersey shore. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing on Monday, June 25 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Mr. Mazurek's memory may be made to USO, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, D.C. 20077-7677
