Annette Rodier, age 69, of Roxborough, New York, London and California passed away February 22, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA.
Annette was born in Tacoma Park, MD to Robert and Anna Rodier on December 14, 1948. She is survived by her son David "Davey" Rodier; daughter in-law, Jennifer; granddaughter, Julia (June Bug); grandson, Kyle; sister, Suzanne; brothers, Bobby, Ricky, Ronny, and Ralph; her dear cat, Lily (OF COURSE) and her nieces and nephews, Gabrielle, Melissa, Justin, Danielle, Tara, and Amanda.
Annette had a zest for life and loved to travel! In the late 70’s and early 80’s, Annette booked bands from England to come play in New York…first Punk Bands and then, Rockabilly. She always loved music and transformed throughout the decades, even going through a brief Disco phase in the 70’s, but was always Rock and Roll at Heart!
Throughout her life, she was always looking for new experiences, new people and new outlooks. She lived in New York, London and Los Angeles. However, even as she laid down roots throughout the world, something always called her back home. Eventually, she returned home to Philadelphia to be with her family. She came back in her usual take-charge style, hitching a trailer with her life’s belongings to the back of her Ford Taurus and driving across country with her sister, Suzanne, aka Thelma and Louise :)
Annette always saw the world as more than what was on the surface, loving the mystical and magical. She was always surrounded by nymphs and fairies… all types of fairies :) Somewhere out there, she is probably still surrounded by something mystical and magical and more than what we can all see in front of us.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Viewing at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey), on Sunday, February 25, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
