Margaret Mary Pelicata passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 71, after a long and courageous fight with breast cancer. She was surrounded by the love and comfort of her family in her final moments.
She is the daughter of the late Harry and Regina (Ashmore) Quinn; incredible mother of Ann Muth (Michael) and Daniel Pelicata; beloved sister of Barry (Eleanor) Quinn, Jerry (Eileen) Quinn, Mary Jean (Michael) Trainor, Cecilia (Garo) Garibian, and Harry (Mary Ann) Quinn; devoted Nana to Hannah, Harrison, Thomas, Timothy, and Logan; and adored aunt to many nephews and nieces. Meg's love and immeasurable spirit made an indelible impact on her family, countless friends, and co-workers.
Meg was born on February 21, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA and was a proud graduate of Holy Child Grade School and Little Flower High School. Her innate values of kindness and
compassion were fostered at Roxborough School of Nursing where she graduated in 1975, launching a 40+ year vocation as a nurse at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.
She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, thoughtfulness, caring spirit, ability to find joy, and her devotion to God. Relatives and friends are invited to the Viewing on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Koller Funeral Home, 6835 Ridge Avenue Philadelphia, PA. On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, a Viewing will be held at Holy Family Church 234 Hermitage Street Philadelphia, PA beginning at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment is private.
