Walter Joseph Czaban of Andorra, age 69, passed away on September 24, 2017.  Son of Helen Czaban (née Staniszewska) and the late Romuald Czaban.  Brother of the late Edward Czaban and the late Ronald Czaban.  Walter was a proud USMC veteran of the Vietnam War; as well as, a dedicated member of the Philadelphia Police Department and Federal Reserve Law Enforcement.  Walter is survived by his wife, Mary Frances (née Dougherty), sons Keith Czaban (Danielle) of Mullica Hill, New Jersey and Kevin Czaban (Colette) of Honolulu, Hawaii, grandchildren Mason and Henrietta.  At Walter’s request, his body has been donated to the University of Pennsylvania for the advancement of science.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The family invites all friends to come and celebrate his life with them and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Abramson Cancer Research Center of the University of Pennsylvania.  Donations can be made online via: http://givingpages.upenn.edu/rememberingWalter  or  by mail to Abramson Cancer Center, Attn.
